Chris Dwan is a staff-level software engineer and the founder of Rad Nine Software. He started his career as a software tester, watching how rarely software delighted the people using it, and has spent the years since moving complexity off people and into systems that just handle it instead. At Chime, that meant leading a project that took on-call from — by his account — more than 40 hours a week down to a couple of hours of verification; today, he does the same kind of work with AI agents.
